2008 NFL Playoffs Wild Card Weekend: San Diego Chargers Regular Season Review

  The Chargers (8-8) won the AFC West to the Denver Broncos in the NFL last season's regular Gamni 2008, 52-21 defeat. The victory ended a run of four victories their opponents, who ruled 149-73 in the home stretch in the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are the first team in NFL history to reach the playoffs after an 4-8 start. The last team to go 8-8 in the playoffs, the New York Giants was in 2006.
Chargers Philip Rivers quart finished the regular season as NFL's 105.5 passer rating with a par and tied for the lead the NFL with 34 touchdown passes while throwing for 4009 yards.
